Walter Benjamin Discussion Questions

Is an artistic performance by a stage actor who performs for an audience more important than a performance by a screen actor who performs for the camera? Why?

The camera man needs just as much talent as many screen actors do, the same goes with film editors, yet it is the actors who receive the most credit for their work. Why is it that society praises the actors but never those behind the scenes?

Montage

I based my Montage's around the word youth. I looked at what it meant to me, what it portrays, and what the reality of our youth is. Youth is diverse, it is free-sprited, daring, courageous, innocent and it is taken for granted. Each montage is based on these different characteristics and shows the many ways one may view youth.
